Search pages inside HamsterOS
HamNet+ keeps the classic address bar, navigation controls, and status line while the hosted service transforms a modern HTTPS page.
HamsterOS Extras service
A modern browsing-like experience for classic underpowered computers. HamNet remains free for plain HTTP sites; HamNet+ adds our exclusive hosted service, which does the heavy web work and sends back pages the HamNet+ client can display efficiently.
HamNet+ is exclusive to HamsterOS and the Hamster Extras package at launch. Specialized versions for Amiga, Windows 95, and Classic Mac are planned over the coming months as HamNet+ browser clients for systems that already have a working network stack.
Usable beta
HamNet+ is available and usable today, but it is still in beta. Testing notes and bug reports help shape what works best on real classic computers, and subscription support goes directly toward continued service, compatibility, and development work.

Free HamNet
The main HamsterOS disk includes HamNet for direct plain HTTP browsing. No HamNet+ plan is needed for normal old-web pages.
Extras Disk
The $29 Hamster Extras Disk includes the HamNet+ browser and the full automatic updater. Add the optional 30-day HamNet+ trial at checkout by approving PayPal automatic renewal.
Optional service
HamNet+ plans cover hosted transformation, metering, bandwidth, server-side rendering, and account-based subscription access.
Platform roadmap
The first HamNet+ release is built for HamsterOS through the Hamster Extras package. Specialized HamNet+ versions for Amiga, Windows 95, and Classic Mac are planned over the coming months. On those systems, HamNet+ is the browser/client only: the computer still needs its own working TCP/IP or platform-appropriate networking stack before HamNet+ can connect.
Prototype screenshots
HamNet+ is focused first on retro-friendly transformed browsing: search, articles, docs, forums, and public reference pages.

Wikipedia-style public pages are the kind of reading, searching, and reference browsing HamNet+ is being built to make comfortable on classic computers.
Prototype proof
This HamNet+ prototype shows the core promise in one frame: a current HTTPS page rendered inside the native HamsterOS browser shell, while the exclusive HamNet+ service does the modern web work.
The service graphic shows the same workflow behind the live prototype: a simple HamNet+ request, modern web handling upstream, and compact page output for classic-era clients.

How it works
Your Classic Computer sends a simple request over our exclusive HamNet+ service. The old computer does not need to negotiate modern TLS or run modern JavaScript. The classic-era client keeps the simple HamNet+ controls and address bar.
The HamNet+ service retrieves the modern web page, removes heavy scripts and unsupported layout, and prepares a smaller page.
The HamNet+ client receives compact HTML and small images designed for HamsterOS screens, memory, and network speed.

Account and billing requirement
HamNet+ is an ongoing hosted service, not just a file on the Extras Disk. Customer accounts connect the HamNet+ browser, subscription status, cancellation, renewal events, and usage metering for transformed pages and Chromium-assisted minutes.
HamNet+ is made for public browsing: search, articles, docs, forums, and other retro-friendly transformed pages. Please do not use HamNet+ for private or sensitive sign-ins such as banking, medical portals, payment pages, or important account logins.
